Positive: Absolutely stunning. Rooms were huge and immaculate with exceptional attention to detail. From blinds, windows, tv, lights and air con being voice activated (English console available for non Chinese speakers) to silicone corner protectors on every piece of furniture that you could bang into. Facilities include top tier robes/towels/slippers, consumables…. Even windows opening and closing has a really satisfying click. There are two dogs on the property (Chongzi the husky which absolutely loves cuddles, and the other that barks at me when I come back to the property late at night). A stream runs through the middle of the property. For those who loves the sound of running water during sleep, this is a must. The staff treated me like family, often giving me more food that I have ordered with their kitchen (which is also awesome). Strongly recommend to anyone who is after peace and quiet in the area.

Negative: It’s not located as close to the parks entrance or the hustle of Wulingyuan as the other hotels, but it’s only 10 minutes via didi/taxi anyways. And there’s always a didi nearby wherever you are.
